The Summer is cooking and so is OMA3!
Earlier this month we announced our first major project- the Inter World Portaling System (IWPS), which will be a “3D hyperlink” for the metaverse. Dean Takahashi at Venturebeat wrote a great article on it:

This is a complex endeavor that touches every aspect of the metaverse: identity, payments, cross-chain asset transfers, asset interoperability, cross-chain/cross-world messaging, and more. As a result, we are actively recruiting infrastructure companies to help contribute to the technology. If you would like to participate, please contact us at info@oma3.org.

Last but not least, we’ve been actively partnering with other consortiums in the Web3 space. We signed a partnership with the Blockchain Game Alliance in late June, which allows their members to participate in OMA3 projects including IWPS. Another major partnership announcement is coming soon so follow us on Twitter or Linkedin for up-to-the-minute news.
